When deleting, the following procedure should be followed:
▪When deleting a designated GTIN, an expiration date must be first sent to the data pool.
▪The DEL-publishing should only be performed, after the synchronizing of the transaction expiration date from retail, which will be confirmed by CIC messages. (DEL-publishing)
The expiration date must be established separately for each level of the product's packaging hierarchy and for each GTIN.
The expiration date establishment process is initiated by pressing the “delete” button. This activates the expiration date field for a manual change, for a manual entry (in case it is not defined as manually changeable in the PV_FCONTROL). With the indication of the expiration date and the following confirmation, the respective level is assigned the status of deleted.
The deleting with the expiration date is then transferred to the data pool. In order to send the data to the pool, all changes have to be confirmed first and then the button “send all data to pool” must be pressed. Here, as in the hierarchy selection, also “confirm changes”. The transferred GTINs now receive a green lightning bolt.
After receiving a response to the CIN-XML-message from the master data pool (data accepted), the status display for all levels below the published level is changed to .
Only the published GTIN receive the status “waiting for CIC”.
The CIC-messages (sent by retail) labeled SYNCHRONIZED triggers the
GTIN-Connector© to change the status to synchronized, on the published GTIN.
