The Cart function can be used for collecting objects for procurement purposes.
1)In order to be able to send the contents of the cart, the user has to define recipients as SpecPDM users, and enter their e-mail addresses in Administration → General → User Settings → User → field E-mail 1.
2)Add items that need to be purchased to the cart via right-click → Add to cart.
3)When done adding items to cart, open the right-click context menu and select Cart.
4)The cart will open:
1.Delete: Remove individual items from the cart using the button, or via right-click → Delete.
When you are ready to send your e-mail, click Send.
2.Select a recipient from the drop-down list.
3.Enter the text of your e-mail in the Comment field.
4.You can have the e-mail sent to yourself by selecting the checkbox CC: to me
5.This line will show you which items are in your cart with their respective ID and Master Data name. Enter the quantity in kilograms and your comment in the fields.
