The following scenarios apply to the logic of additive class assignment:
Scenario 1:
If the trade name is concurrently assigned to an additive class in the course of its initial creation (initial entry) in trade name administration, the additive class is automatically displayed. In case of multiple classes assigned to one ingredient, the class that is marked as default in Administration will be displayed as the first in the column, and the ingredient can be manually reassigned to other classes offered in the selection list. The content of the selection list is generated from the classes assigned to the ingredient in trade name administration. The checkbox in Additives is neither selected, nor operable as the system automatically labels such ingredients as additives.
Scenario 2:
If the trade name is additionally assigned to an additive class in trade name administration, the Add. class is not automatically shown, but can be selected from the selection list.
The Additives checkbox can be applied only to ingredients defined as additives in the trade name administration.
