This dialog is directly linked to the Calculation module. It enables you to select components for targeting, define the min/max range for the components and see the reduced costs. You can execute the targeting function by clicking on the icon from the Module Toolbar provided you have specified a target value in module Calculation. For more information, please See Calculation → Functions & Processes →  Targeting.

1)Module toolbar:

Aside from the usual taskbar buttons referred to to in Recipe → Functions & Processes → Basic Recipe Functions, the Optimization taskbar has different functions as follows:

1.Expand: Display sub-recipes. This icon has to be enabled via a designated program parameter.

2.Collapse: Hide all sub-recipes. This icon has to be enabled via a designated program parameter.

2)Recipe components: Fields containing various details about the recipe, along with optimization options. A red color indicates unreleased and a black color indicates released components.

3)Modifiable fields:

T: Set Targeting ON/OFF.

Fix: Fix/unfix raw material(s).

Min/Max: Set min. and max. value.

Reduced cost: Will be shown after the calculation.

Comment: Leave your comment.

4)Edit columns: Right-click option. Show or hide columns. It is also possible to rename columns by double-clicking on their name.
