The Semi-automatic Declaration represents a compromise between the manual declaration and declaration automatic. While the ingredients list created using the declaration automatic settings captures the composition at a given point in time and is detached from the underlying recipe (i.e. is not updated when the original recipe changes), the ingredient list can be modified when using the semi-automatic declaration in the Recipe module before the final ingredient list is generated according to the automatic declaration settings. Substitutions can also be defined for semi-automatic declaration. Please follow the instructions below.
.Go to Administration/General/Declaration Automatic and select the profile that you want to use for semi-automatic declaration. Then select the Use "Ingredients details" checkbox. You can select multiple profiles. You can also setup automatic substitutions that will be performed in Recipe/IL. For more information, see Administration/General/Declaration Automatic/Substitutions.
.Go to Recipe/IL, right-click on the tab Ingredients details and select Create new ingredients detail profile. Select the profile you want to use.
.A new tab is created. The substitutions are performed immediately. You can further edit the list by removing ingredients, selecting their additive classes and allergens, applying alternative names, enabling QUID, etc. You can see the preview of the modified ingredients list on the right → tab Preview.
.You can now click on the Generate icon from the quick access toolbar to initiate the automatic declaration. Once finished, go to Declaration/Ingredients/Combine ingredients and select the profile from the ingredient lists drop-down menu. Now you can see the manual modifications you have made in the Recipe module plus the modifications from the declaration automatic profile (e.g. combining same ingredients and classes). The ingredients list is not static, as changes made in the original recipe affect the ingredients list.
