In the namesake tab Costing, you can find detailed costing information originating from Base data batch size, Time base quantity, Planned batch unit conversion, and Recipe → Definition. Costs are calculated from component costs to produce the required quantities. Quantity corresponds to the recipe Base quantity that was specified during recipe creation.
The Costing tab contains five sub-tabs:
Materials (Master data objects) used as components of the selected recipe are shown according to their product group (Administration → General → Products → Product structure). The summation is carried out for these components: material costs, variable, and fixed overhead costs including marginal production costs (excluding fixed costs), and total price (currency related).
