Status

Statuses of different sorts, such as vegetarian and vegan suitability, or organic food standards can be assigned to Master data with a reference to the suppliers. Master data statuses are evaluated in the Calculation module as per the AND and OR rules. For more information, see chapter Function & processes - Using Master data status in Calculation.

1)Module Toolbar: For more information, see Master data → Functions & Processes → Basic Master data Functions.

2)These tabs correspond to groups to which the criteria used for status belong. Click on one of the tabs to display only those parameters that belong to the corresponding group. Tab All displays all criteria.

3)Status designation: The name of the criterion as defined in Administration → General → Products → Criteria structure. The number of criteria arises from the global template. The list of status criteria can be managed in Administration → Global criteria → criteria type Master data - Statuses. Fields that contain a comment are highlighted. Red text indicates mandatory criteria. This can be defined for individual criteria in Administration → General → Products → Criteria structureMandatory drop-down list.

4)Unit: A unit is displayed in case the criterion has its unit specified in Criteria structure in Administration.

5)Yes/No: Indicates whether the status is applicable or non-applicable to the Master data object.

6)Certificate: Indicates availability of a product/supplier certificate.

7)IP: Intellectual property.

8)Comment: Enter a comment in the blank text field. When a document is attached to the criterion, this field becomes highlighted.

9)Right-clicking in the Status tab opens a context menu with the following options:

Edit status: The user can directly add or remove criteria. The selection will be valid only for the currently opened Master data object. Otherwise it is possible to define the list of statuses hierarchically via Administration → Hierarchical criteria and globally via Administration → Global criteria.

Comment criterion: View comments associated with criteria (read-only). Users can create comments on criteria in Administration → General → Products → Criteria structure → field Comment. Criteria with comments are marked with a different color.

Document: To assign a document to the selected cell.

Copy supplier data: Enables transferring the selected type of Master data from one supplier to another. For instructions how to use this function, please see Master data → Functions & Processes → Copy Supplier Data.

Edit columns: To show or hide columns. It is also possible to rename columns by double-clicking their name.
