NEW FEATURES

+ Documents repository

The Documents repository is an overview of files that have been attached to the specifications. The Repository page shows the files linked to all specifications in one place. The Document Repository allows suppliers to update documents (a certificate) in multiple specifications without opening and updating the specifications one by one. This brings significant time savings. The new Repository is beneficial for both issuers and suppliers. Issuers may see files provided from all their suppliers on a single page.

+ KPI

Key Performance Indicators, the KPIs, displayed in the Dashboard indicate how efficiently your organization manages the specifications workload compared to other issuers in the Supplier’s Guide. The KPIs displayed on the Supplier card page represent the metrics for a particular supplier. The indicators allow you to compare the supplier’s performance against other suppliers. Additionally, the indicators illustrate the effort your organization has with a supplier.

+ Risk evaluation

In the Supplier card, issuers may create a risk profile that means a common list of risk areas that may be assessed for every supplier. Issuers may then keep the record of the risk assessment for each supplier. Simple example would be, the issuer assesses 3 risk areas: (1) Food safety, (2) Traceability, and (3) Labeling and Seals and then “Overall risk rating”. The issuer may assess the risk for these areas and define the overall risk for every supplier. In the Dashboard, there is a new page “Risk Assessment” with a search-able list of suppliers and their risk ratings. As of now, the risk rating is set manually. In the future, the risk rating will be calculated automatically from the specifications filled in by suppliers.

+ The column width is remembered - UX improvement

Users may adjust the width of any column, other than the first column, in any section or category. User preferred width of columns is automatically remembered. If the user logs out and logs in, the width of the columns will be the same as set during the last session. Setting the preferred width of columns is useful in sections with too many columns, especially on smaller screens.

+ Resolve comments

Issuers and suppliers may mark comments (the communication between two parties) as resolved. Resolved comments get a different icon resolve. This way it is easier to identify which comments need attention and which do not. In the Comments section, it is possible to filter only the unresolved comments, those which need attention.

+ Send email to a colleague within the same company
Issuer users can send email from a specification to other users within the same company. This is used to communicate to another colleague matters related to a specification. It is not used to communicate with other companies. This functionality is a company customization and needs to be enabled by SpecPage.
